I Saw The Sign

You know that song? By Ace of Base? I don't really know it myself, but I needed a good title for this post! Remember that little triplet problem that I spoke of here, well problem no more I tell ya!! For all of you future visitors that find yourselves in a pickle because you drank too many ice teas or just simply held it too long so now your chomping at the bit to get to the ladies/mens room, your problem has been solved. You are no longer at risk of tinkling in your trousers due to door confusion. Or even worse (as far as I'm concerned) accidentally tinkling in my pantry! If you mistakenly tinkle in the laundry room then at least you can wash your clothes while you're in there! That's right everyone I found a solution! Feast your eyes on the before:

I know!!! Signs! Aren't they great? Here's a close up:

How did I get here? I took some scrap plywood, drew out a shape and Chris cut the shape to the appropriate sizes.

I then purchased a small chain from Lowes along with two plant brackets; and I used the some black paint that I already owned.

I then painted the shapes and chain with black paint and decided that since my tracing/painting skills are a bit sketchy I would use chalk!!

Oh, and that goldish outline was done on a whim. I thought the signs needed that little something extra. You know what I used...he he he...

Yep, fingernail polish!! I realize that I could have gone and purchased some gold paint but you guys know I'm not as patient as I should be. I saw it and thought Perfect! Not to mention, fingernail polish isn't just for fingernails right? It has many uses...toenails...sign trim...I'm sure there are many more.

So there you have it, mission accomplished.
